Pittsboro Baptist Church exists to be a family of believers built on the unchanging truth of God’s Word who are on mission together to reach the lost, disciple the church, and love others in the way of Christ so they may know Him and follow Him.

We desire to be more than a gathering of people who meet from week to week. We are a family of believers in Jesus Christ. Through faith in Him, we have been brought into the family of God. As a family, we worship together, grow together, serve together, encourage one another, and walk through every season of life together.

Built on the unchanging truth of God's Word
What we believe matters. Our faith is built upon the unchanging truth of God’s Word. We believe the Bible is completely true and trustworthy, our ultimate authority for faith and life, and its central message is about Jesus Christ, the Savior & Shepherd of the Church. As a cooperating church affiliated with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and the Southern Baptist Convention, we affirm The Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as a summary of the biblical beliefs and convictions that unite our churches. On Mission Together
Following Jesus means joining His mission. We are not simply spectators gathered for a worship service. We are disciples sent into our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, community, and world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We believe this mission is something we do together: every generation, every member, every believer playing a part.
Reaching the Lost
We believe every person needs to hear and respond to the good news of Jesus Christ. We seek to reach those who are far from God by sharing the Gospel, building relationships, serving our community, and taking the message of Christ to our neighbors and the nations.
Discipling the Church
We believe that a disciple is a lifelong worshiper, follower, and learner of Jesus Christ who seeks to be an example, teacher, and leader of others to that same relationship with Him. Loving Others
Jesus has called us to love God and love others. We want the love of Christ to shape the way we treat one another and the way we serve the people around us. Whether through a meal, a ministry, an act of kindness, a helping hand, or simply being present in someone's time of need, we want people to experience the love of Christ through His people.
