What To Expect
We know visiting a church for the first time can feel a little unfamiliar. We want your first Sunday at Pittsboro Baptist Church to be as enjoyable as possible!
When you arrive, our Greeting Team will be ready to welcome you and help you find your way. Stop by our Welcome Table to meet someone, ask questions, learn more about PBC, or find out where you would like to go.
Come as you are. Some people dress up for church, while others dress more casually. There’s no dress code at Pittsboro Baptist. Simply come as you are. We want you to feel comfortable and free to focus on worshiping Jesus and hearing from His Word.
For your children, we want the whole family to feel at home. We have a fully staffed nursery available throughout the entire service for our youngest children. When the sermon is about to begin, children are invited to participate in Children's Church, where they can learn about God's Word in an age-appropriate setting.
During worship, you can expect a service centered on glorifying Jesus Christ and grounded in the Word of God. We sing together, pray together, and open God's Word together. Our worship includes a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs led by our worship team.
After the service, don't feel like you have to rush out. We love spending time together! Meet someone new, introduce yourself to one of our ministry staff members, or simply stick around and enjoy some fellowship.
A typical Sunday service lasts about 90 minutes. Most importantly, come expecting to worship Jesus, hear from God's Word, and meet a church family that would love to welcome you. We're glad you're here. Welcome to the PBC Family!
